Throwback: Guldknappen Award
In 2017 Rebeccea Björnsdotter won the prestigious Guldknappen ”Knappnålen” Award. It is awarded by the Swedish magazine “Damernas Värld” and has been awarded to outstanding designers since 1982. The award was started as a way to support, pave way and shine a light on Swedish fashion.
The jury nominated Rebecca Björnsdotter as the winner with the following motivation:
“Rebecca Björnsdotter is proof that having a niche and standing out pays off. With embellished shoes that emanate strength and confidence, her unique aesthetic has charmed Swedish women as well as international pop stars. We congratulate Rebecca on the award and look forward to seeing more from this promising designer.”
The brand was founded in 2016 and winning an award of this magnitude was priceless. Its always important we celebrate our wins in life!
